“I wrote this song remembering my experience at Kerry James Marshall's retrospective "Mastry" in 2017. An older woman asked me, "You must be so proud"...” Shot at Los Angeles gallery, Kristina Kite, where Slauson has previously exhibited painting and sculpture, with the ‘♫ A Star Like Any Other—’ exhibition in late 2019 under his name Jasper Marsalis. Executive produced by NTS and Carhartt Work In Progress for WIP 2020.
