Raised both by his single mother, and the local cinema ("five times a week, often three films a day"), German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder was a film wunderkind from an early age. First exploring stage & theatre productions, Fassbinder went on to create a staggering 40 films in 13 years, up until his untimely death at the age of 37. His austere, realist & socially conscious stories were important works in the development of the New German Cinema Movement, which also included the works of Werner Herzog and Alexander Kluge.
150 Session's ML selects an hour of soundtrack moments from Fassbinder's prolific film oeuvre.
