PHAMBINHO W/ TO VAN KAO
Parisien-based Paradoxe Club label manager To Van Kao fills in as Phambinho continues his 2021 NTS sabbatical. The mix is a personal manifestation of To Van's exploration of her Vietnamese heritage and illustrate how she has been dealing with the past year. Expect grime, electro, drill, and To Van's edits, making full use of the diversity of Vietnamese melodies and percussive rhythms with the energy of modern forms of dance music. The mood here is quite nostalgic yet hopeful.
