A low key, and often undersung figure in 1980s pop and R&B music, Nick Martinelli amassed hundreds of production credits in the post-disco creative explosion in 80s New York, where boogie, disco, latin freestyle, & street soul were hot and drum machines and synthesizers were the new kings. Over the course of his career, Martinelli's name was attached to a dizzying number of now cult artists, including Evelyn "Champagne" King, Loose Ends, Frankie Knuckles, Fat Larry's Band and more.
