Think of the next half-hour as the sonic equivalent of a kiss stolen under the mistletoe and pursued by Interpol across three continents before being tracked down to a gene-splicing lab in Switzerland where a mad scientist is trying to turn the kiss into a supernova snog that will smother the world to death in a tsunami of lipstick and brandy-flavoured spittle.
