His music combines hip hop, country, rock, and Americana. In 2024, he gained attention after collaborating with Beyoncé on two tracks from her eighth studio album; "Cowboy Carter". His first release following the collaborations with Beyoncé, "A Bar Song (Tipsy)", reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and tied the record for the most weeks spent at number one with 19 weeks at the summit.
