DJ Aqeel is a DJ, singer and composer from India. He became famous after his "Shake it daddy Mix" song became very popular in the early 2000. His popularity grew when his song "Tu hai wahi" song which was a remix of the "Yeh Wada Raha" song from the 1982 movie of the same name became popular in the 2000.

DJ Aqeel lives in Mumbai with his wife Farah Khan Ali, who is the daughter of actor Sanjay Khan, and is the sister of the bollywood actor Zayed Khan
