Tracy Ackerman has been played on NTS shows including Ruf Dug, with Loving You first played on 21 August 2020.

Tracy Ackerman is a British singer and songwriter. She works with several other British songwriters including Andy Watkins and Paul Wilson of Absolute and Mark Taylor. Ackerman was schooled at Gordano School between 1973 and 1978.

She has recorded several of her own tracks and had a hit single in 1993 with the band Q with a cover of the Brenda Russell's hit, "Get Here". Ackerman released several Hi-NRG songs during the 1980s including Advance feat. Tracy Ackerman-"Take Me To The Top", "Don't Want It (Don't Need It)", "Love Hangover", "I Just Don't Know What Do With Myself", and "Slave (For Your Desire)." Perhaps her most popular hit single was "Take My Body (And I Will Take Your Love)" released in 1987. Other early work included singing lead on "Ice" on Rick Wakeman's 1988 solo album Time Machine, and with 80s cover groups Enigma (UK band), This Year's Blonde & Mirage. Tracy also sang backing vocals on some of Shakatak's albums. She also toured with Boyzone and Dead or Alive,as well as doing backing vocals with Tessa Miles during Eric Clapton's 1988 immensely successful anniversary tour. In the mid 1990s forward, she concentrated her engeries on writing songs for other Pop and Dance music artists.

Ackerman currently lives in Berkshire. She is married to successful property developer Steve Bromwich.
