Milky

Milky has been played over 10 times on NTS, first on 2 May 2020. Milky's music has been featured on 12 episodes.

There is more than one artist with this name.

MILKY was created by two Italian producers, Giordano Trivellato and Giuliano Sacchetto, who are responsible for a long line of hits. In 1995 they co-wrote “Don’t stop” by the Outhere Brothers that went gold in the UK and in many other countries. They also collaborated on the follow-up single “Boom boom boom”. In the last 10 years they have produced and written over 200 songs. Many of these became hits in France such as Juice T “Love you for life” and others had huge airplay in Italy and Europe like Jinny, Kina, Marvellous Melodicos, Silvia Coleman, JJ Brothers and Carol Bailey. Having met the producers a couple of years ago in a record shop in her home town Padova, Italy, singer Giuditta immediately sprang to mind when they were looking for a singer for this new exciting project. Immediately the three of them clicked. They began to work in the studio and this friendship and working relationship led to the recording of their first fantastic debut album “Star” which showcases Giuditta’s versatile vocals and ‘Milky’s great production techniques to produce a sparkling album of pop classics and sultry ballads.

Milky is a collaboration between Shazna Nessa and her (ex-)husband, Scottish indie pop mainstay Momus. They released their first song, "The Emperor of Oranges," on Siesta Records in 1997, followed at long length by their first and only LP Travels with a Donkey in 2002. Shazna has also recorded on Siesta under the moniker Maria Napoleon.
