caroline

caroline has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 18 episodes and was first played on 25 April 2020.

There are at least five artists named Caroline:

A UK experimental rock band.

A Finnish rock band.

A young Danish pop singer.

A French jazz band.

A singer-songwriter from Okinawa, Japan.

An experimental rock outfit based out of London, caroline's patient, meditative songs and instrumentals started with a shared interest in Midwestern emo, Appalachian folk, and classical minimalism, and a practice of deconstructing and then rebuilding the same small groups of songs.

A Finnish rock 'n' roll band founded in Helsinki in the summer of 2005 by the lead singer Tommy Gun. Besides Tommy the band consists of Simo (guitar), Ville (guitar), Samu (bass) and Henkka (drums). Their first mini EP "Stories of My Life" was released in February 2006 and the second "Go and Get Yourself a Gun!" in September 2006. Caroline's third, yet untitled short demo was released in March 2007.

A Danish girl writing pop songs for children.

A French jazz band, composed of Olivier Py (tenor Saxophone), Gilles Coronado (guitar), Sarah Murcia (bass) and Franck Vaillant (drums). Their first album was released on french label Chief Inspector (http://www.chief-inspector.com/). In February 2008, they released Monaco, their second album, on Label Bleu. Their blend of Jazz and independent rock is often compared to Jim Black's Alas No Axis.

Caroline (Caroline Lufkin) is a singer-songwriter from Okinawa, and the younger sister of Japan-based artist Olivia. She debuted in 2005 under indie label Temporary Residence Ltd. with the single "Where's My Love". Her first album, "Murmurs", was released in March 2006. Caroline's songs combine electronica, pop, and ambient music.
