Slab was first played on NTS on 20 February 2020. Songs played include Sonic Grudge and Fade Into You.

There are many bands under the name Slab, most notably the one that appeared on the Jazz Satellites, Vol 1: Electrification compilation in 1996, who fuse elements of jazz, post-punk and funk.

A rock group from Tartu, Estonia., active between 2004-2006. During their rather short existence they made one demo (School is over). Everybody hated it, including the band themselves. There have also been comments about the singers singing abilities. He himself found it very sad. He has also said he didn't like the fact that SlaB was sometimes considered a punk-rock band. Also in original band had 3 members. Tiid (Quitar), Rait (Drums), Kristjan (Bass). Before they recorded the Demo Kristjan left the band and Kaspar took his place.
