Guava is a Finnish pop/rock band consisting of Jari Kuusisto (vocals & guitar), Mikko Nikula (guitar), Niko Westman (drums), Juhana Haavisto (bass and backing vocals) and Marja Teittinen (keyboard).
Guava was founded in 1996 in Kotka. The band got a record deal with Poko Records in 2001 and their first single "Galaksi" (Galaxy) was released in 2002. The debut album "Aalto" (Wave) was released in 2003. The biggest hit of the band, "Tao Tao", was a rock version of a cartoon theme song.
