There are more than one act known as The Hormones:
The Hormones were a glam-punk band from Austin, TX led by musician/journalist Tim "Napalm" Stegall and also featuring Ron Williams (Jesus Christ Superfly) on bass. They released three singles between 1993 and 1998 before splitting. Stegall is planning to form a new version of The Hormones in Denver, Colorado.
The Hormones are a primarily punk based band reigning out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The songs on this page actually belonging to this band are 'Flies on me in Shackles' and 'Hovering Animals'. The rest belong to some other musician but somehow ended up on here.
The Hormones was also the group name adopted by Dublin singer-songwriter Marc Carroll, with a sound reminiscent of Teenage Fanclub and The Byrds, who released the album 'Where Old Ghosts Meet' in 1998 in the UK and Japan.
The Hormones (荷尔蒙小姐) are an indie rock band from Chengdu, China. Their debut album "Elephant" was released in 2014. Their self-titled album was released in 2018.
