Luxul

Luxul

Luxul has been played on NTS in shows including Samuel Kerridge, featured first on 17 September 2017. Songs played include Rain Of Ash.

There are two unrelated artists who go by the name Luxul, both of which were formed in 2015: 1) A solo noise/drone artist based in Australia 2) A solo noise/drone/black metal artist based in London, UK

1) Luxul is a dark ambient artist based in Australia. He uses synthesizers, guitars, fretless zither, dan gao, shakuhachi, tibetan singing bowls, vocals, shamanic drums, organ, field recorder…

According to Luxul, his music is ritual expressionism and draws on influences from the different sacred music traditions of time and space.

The composition, performance and art are manifestations of expanded states of consciousness as a result of the white occult sciences.

Certain works contain conjurations and invocations, taken from the liturgy of different esoteric traditions. In 2015, Luxul teamed up with The Sublunar Society and Foundation was released. In 2017, the second album, Ilyanammaton, came out on cassette and digitally.
