Reformed Faction

Reformed Faction has been played on NTS shows including HTRK, with The Wild Wasps Of Summer Blood first played on 24 June 2019.

Reformed Faction, (original name 'The Reformed Faction of Soviet France') is the collaborative project originally formed by three former members of Zoviet France: Andy Eardley, Mark Spybey and Robin Storey in 2005.

They played one concert, in Vienna on 10 November 2005, and released a self-titled album on the Vienna-based Klanggalerie label. In 2006, they announced that they were to continue the project under the name Reformed Faction in order to detach themselves from the name Zoviet France. The album was repressed under the new name and given the new title Vota. is limited to 400 copies with unique packaging featuring postcards of the band's artwork. Spybey would record Storey and then manipulate the sounds, combining rough mixes of the pieces with sounds of his own. Although most of the music was recorded over the course of a weekend, it took several months to assemble the album.

In the same year, Andy Eardley departed the band. They subsequently toured East Germany and recorded a second album, The War Against, for the Soleilmoon label. They have also recorded a triple album for Soleilmoon, to be released in 2008. The band continues today as a duo of Mark Spybey and Robin Storey.
