Praed has been played on NTS in shows including Discostan, featured first on 6 June 2019. Songs played include Djinn Dance and El Khawaga.

After six years of musical and artistic collaboration, Praed give us their third CD to date, reaching even further into their exploration of collective memory, both individual and shared. Shades of jazz, bits and pieces of popular Arabic music, sound traces from their Japanese and European tours are some of the many features of this elaborate audio suite.

One project after the other, Raed Yassin & Paed Conca developed a savvy way of piling up material, mixing them in a way that gives them a whole new life. Samples of various origins including vinyl, radio material and excerpts from Egyptian movie soundtracks combined with their own instrumental combo of electric bass, clarinet, electronics, synthesizers & double-bass. Significantly, most of the pieces on this recording are the offshoots of live performances.
