GRUPO JALADO is a Mexican music band formed by three brothers: Juan Carlos, Fernando and Gonzalo Mejía. They began performing together in 2003 and have since become one of Mexico’s most popular musical acts. Their music combines traditional Mexican sounds with more modern beats and styles. Jalado has released four albums to date, including “Somos Jalado” in 2008, “Nuevo Amanecer” in 2010, “De Noche y de Dia” in 2012, and “Aire” in 2014. The group has toured extensively throughout Mexico and the U.S., and has also collaborated with some of Mexico’s most popular singers, including Ana Bárbara, Carla Morrison and Paty Cantú. GRUPO JALADO has earned numerous awards over the years, including four Latin Grammy nominations for Best Regional Mexican Album. They have also been nominated for several Premio Lo Nuestro awards and were named Best New Artist at the 2011 Premios Oye! Awards. In 2017, they were honored with the Excellence Award by the National Association of Mexican Musicians (ANMM).
