Da Tweekaz

Da Tweekaz

Da Tweekaz has been played on NTS shows including Low Income $quad, with Luv U More (Da Tweekaz x Gammer Flip) first played on 4 May 2019.

Da Tweekaz are a Norwegian Hardstyle production/DJ pair, composed of Kenth Kvien and Marcus Nordli. They are presently signed to the Belgian record label Dirty Workz.

Kenth Kvien and Marcus Nordli were creating different varieties of onerous popular music before they entered the hardstyle scene. After they finally did in 2007, they sent out promos of their tracks "Angeli Domini" and "Crowsong", that later ended up leaked onto Polish and Russian websites. They included up releasing "Angeli Domini" on Spider Records that they had their initial unleash on major hardstyle label Dirty Workz in 2010. In 2012, the pair moved to the Netherlands for a brief amount of time, simply to avoid flying up and down for the numerous festivals within the Netherlands and Belgium.

Informally dubbed "Kings of Cheese", Da Tweekaz specialize in uplifting and energetic melodies and a silly sense of humor, best seen in official music videos to "Wodka" and "Tequila" which portray extensive alcohol consumption and vomiting. They also "remixed" Defqon.1 anthems from 2015 and 2016, using their signature rubber duck squeaks, and naming them respectively "No Ducks No Glory" and "DragonDucks".

They still make hardstyle but have started making a name for themselves in the hardcore scene, with the name Tweekacore (the 175 BPM version of Da Tweekaz).
