Black Russian formed in summer 2010 by congregation of a group of well seasoned musicians with a mutual love for gritty, sexy, low-down rock 'n' roll.
Drinkers, rockers, revellers and rollers, all five members have collaborated, bringing their own unique and varied influences and styles to the table resulting in an exciting new spin on authentic hard rock.
With their debut EP 'Drag Me Into Your World' recently released, Black Russian have been working hard in every sphere, from live shows, to building strong relationships between themselves, other artists, promoters and prospective agencies and companies.
The band have recently enjoyed a succession of very successful live shows, ranging from Manchester to London, in particular at the O2 Academy 3, Birmingham - all the while gathering media attention and eager interest from major venues, agencies, labels and studios; including Kerrang, BBC Hereford and Worcester and the legendary Rockfield Studios, to name a few.
The future looks very promising for Black Russian, in gaining further radio play and industry interest, to acquiring festival bookings and undergoing a summer 2011 UK tour - whilst further building their fanbase, making the most of their time on and off stage and bring British Hard Rock back to forefront of the music scene of tomorrow.
