Tavishi has been played on NTS shows including Fractal Meat On A Spongy Bone, with Not All Struggles Are Visible first played on 5 January 2019.

Tavishi is the solo sound project of composer, multi-instrumentalist, performer, visual artist and scientist, Sarmistha Talukdar. Tavishi, who works as a biologist, draws inspiration from scientific research data as well as her own experience as a queer Indian woman living in America.

In this project she experiments with diverse elements (scientific research data, Indian music, noise, ambient and industrial elements) to create noise and drone based atmospheric compositions.
