Eliza has been played on NTS in shows including [ k s r ] & Tarzsa, featured first on 20 December 2018. Songs played include Own Ting and Own Thing.

Eliza was an application that would simulate a psychological interview with the user. With the shareware version for the Macintosh computer, if the MacInTalk text-to-speech engine was installed, the application could speak.

Information Society sampled the application saying “Make it funky” and “Good God!” (both quotations from James Brown) for their track “Make it Funky”.
