Special guest shows from around the world.
Born in Tokyo, raised in Brazil, and educated in French schools, but it was in London that Noriko Sekiguchi, also known as POiSON GiRL FRiEND first found the music that would inspire her own work. She became infatuated with the UK and US house music that was filling the city in the mid to late 1980s, before returning to Tokyo, bringing the music with her to the city's clubs as a DJ. Releasing multiple albums, the POiSON GiRLFRiEND project – featuring a house and breakbeat-infused pop and R&B sound – reached minor commercial and critical acclaim. Sekiguchi's solo music along with her work in obscure group Kiss-O-Matic has experienced a small revival following some Japanese music fanatics exploration of 90s CD releases.

Gospel vocalist Marvia Providence has done something very few Gospel artists have been able to do; she has pierced the mainstream by bringing her island rhythms and fresh sounds to the music scene.
This blessed and outstanding lady was eight years old when she discovered her talent as a gospel artist. However it was in 1985 when she fully committed her life to Christ Jesus that her spirit was caught up with her mission for the international community and the universal body of Christ. It was music that led her to find her own voice in the vast arena of gospel, thus thrusting her into what is now a growing and successful ministry.
Marvia earned her ministerial licensed as a gospel minister and found her office in the five-fold ministry as an Evangelist after pursuing a Bachelor's degree course at the Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener, Ontario. She graduated in the year 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies which better equipped and assisted her in delivering the oracles of God that she whole heartedly believes God has given her for our generation.
As an anointed Evangelist, she has ministered the gospel and shared the stage in several conferences with other great ministers such as TV Evangelist Paula White, Eddy Long, John Francis, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Sheryl Brady, Beverly Crawford, Bishop Neil C. Ellis and many other great men and women of God. Marvia is a member of the Dominion Deliverance Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Colin Esseboom whom she ascribe as one her mentors.
Marvia’s musical style is heavily influenced by the warm sounds of the Caribbean to the traditional sounds of Southern Gospel. Her soulful and sometimes raspy voice has woven its way through the tapestry of gospel music, weaving a picture of hope and passion for her listeners.
After many years of hard work in the music industry her enterprising spirit and resilience was rewarded when as a solo artist her first recording with The Toronto Mass Choir on their album “Great is thy Glory” surfaced in 1992. But it was in 1994 that Providence received recognition and released her first album “Too Much to Gain to Lose” which raised her gospel music career into a higher crescendo. Her talent and ability to capture an audience and lead them into worship has taken her to several countries around the globe such as the United States, the UK, the Cayman Islands, Antigua, Trinidad, Turks & Caicos, Tortola, the Bahamas, Guyana, St Vincent, St. Kitts and Anguilla. She has shared the stage with ministers and artists such, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, The Grace Thrillers, Papa San, Chevelle Franklin and various other renowned artists in the gospel world.
Marvia is a very kind and compassionate woman of God. As a gospel minister and humanitarian her beneficence is summoned into action when she sees people in need materially or spiritually. It is upon this threshold that she gains the opportunity to serve and give back to community the blessings the favor of God has bestowed upon her life. She therefore volunteers her time and services to several local churches and charitable organizations as the need arises through religious Conferences, Crusades, Praise and Worship Seminars empowering and impacting lives with God’s word. She was part of a group of caring artists known as the "Explorer Company," who spent a day with troubled students in a Toronto inner city school. That event touched the hearts of many and for appreciation the group was presented with a plaque from the Toronto School Board for their contribution.
Marvia knew her future was bright at her prime age and would always be at the fore-front. But little did she know that it would be from her own ministry. Her determined aspiration to take the Word of God to all nations plus the inclination of not to fail but fulfill the divine commission upon her life has given her a singular hope which is to continue to impact and touch lives through her music industry. The full support of her very handsome husband who is also a minister in the church she attends has incensed her ambition giving her the needed anchor to accomplish her destiny. She therefore feels blessed and privileged to be married to this loving servant of God whom she met on a mission field in Guyana in 1988. They got married in February, 2002 and ever since they are experiencing the favor of God upon their lives.
