Mónica Giraldo is a singer songwriter from Bogotá, Colombia. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Monica Giraldo received 2 recognitions from Billboard Magazine in 2007, one for Best Latin Song, and the other for Best New Talent. in 2008, Monica Giraldo was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. She was selected among 264 artists from 44 countries to perform a showcase at MIDEM world music market in Cannes France. She is set to perform at the SXSW in Austin, TX in March 21st, 2009. Her critically acclaimed album "Todo da vueltas" (WattsUp/Codiscos) is available on iTunes, and in select physical stores.
