Junior Rafael is a 43-year-old Chicagoan of Puerto Rican descent. A Music Box regular in its mid-80s heyday, Junior started making his own tracks at the end of that decade, but his insistence on projecting his upfront sexuality through his music meant that he found it hard to get his tracks onto vinyl.
