Diversity, passion and enthusiasm are keywords that lead Pieter Heijnen to start the project called ‘DJ Thera’ in 2006. From start, the signature ‘music produced from the heart’ has greatly characterized DJ Thera’s music. As a performer, he has always been praised for his positive vibe, skilled mixing and never ending energy level. Intially, his typical ‘type’ of hardstyle music was appreciated in the United Kingdom and Scotland mostly. As the harddance music genres matured, underground concepts like Ground Zero and Loudness increasingly offered DJ Thera opportunities to perform his unique act for large audiences. Nowadays, events like Decibel Outdoor, Dance Valley, Qapital and countless many others have welcomed DJ Thera on stage, with Hard Bass 2013 being the absolute highlight of his career.

Since DJ Thera’s vision on hardstyle differed from that of his colleague DJs, he found his own music label ‘Theracords’ in 2008. Just like the DJ Thera project, Theracords releases ‘music produced from the heart’. His first charthit that was released on Theracords was “Do The Happy Face” with Geck-o. Later, ‘It’s A Fine Day’ with vocalist Yuna-X followed. 2012 gave us more major Theracords releases, like “The Battle”, “Incoming” with Frequencerz, “The Breaking Point” and “Welcome” with Delete. DJ Thera is sure not tired of producing yet, and has many projects coming up that will surprise you like never before.
