AKRASIA (recently often written as AKRASIA jp) is a Kyoto-based metal band known for its blend of deathcore, djent, and thall. While the band hasn't officially declared who plays what instrument, the lineup includes Harashiro (原白), who is involved in mixing, lyric writing, and mastering; Gai (丐), also contributing as a lyricist, mixer, and masterer; and Ukon Kamuro (右近 香夢楼), who serves as the primary composer.

The band launched their career with a metalcore and djent style, debuting with the single "caelestis lux" in September 2017. Their first EP, lapse into idleness, followed in June 2018. In August 2021, they released the single "MOROKEI," marking a progression in their sound. Later that year, they continued to release new music with "Chrysalis" in September and "Baptism" on December 18, 2021. In December 2023, they released "RIFTONE," further showcasing their path towards deathcore, djent and thall.
