Started her career as a pop and rock singer back in the 80s and later become interested mainly in classic music and some other forms of experimentalism in music and singing. At the age of nine begun studying in the Conservatorium of Lisbon and also in other music and artistic schools that increased her desire to have a deeper engagement in arts. Studied with João Mota, Àgueda Sena, Margarida D’Abreu, Graça Morais, Ana Mascolo, Helena Pimentel, Liliana Bizineche, Joana Silva, Maria João Serrão, Ileana Cotrubas, Magda Olivero, Rolando Panerai, Paolo Washington. Nevertheless the singer considers herself an autodidact although having been studying with many Portuguese and Italian masters. Composes and produces her own records and gives concerts all over the country and abroad, performing classical/lyrical music and contemporary one. Machine Lyrique, edited in December 2006, with songs of Kurt Weill and Boris Vian have opened up new territories in her artistic endeavour and now with La Luna the singer works out her kaleidoscopic possibilities.
