Big Rig has been played on NTS in shows including Yesterday's News, featured first on 12 September 2018. Songs played include New Fist.

There have been at least three bands called Big Rig.

(1) New solo project from Jen Twynn Payne of The Courtneys

(2) Big Rig was a punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area fronted by singer/songwriter Jesse Michaels, who formed the band after the break-up of his previous project, Operation Ivy, and before forming the band Common Rider. Big Rig released one 4-song, 9-minute EP entitled Expansive Heart in 1994 on Lookout! Records.

(3) There was a Tennessee metalcore band called Big Rig who released a self-titled EP in 2006. One of the EP's five songs, "If I Can Move Mountains I Can Move You," features guest appearances by David Bunton and Josh Childers of Christian metal band The Showdown. Scant additional information is available about this Big Rig.
