August Moon has been played on NTS shows including House Call, with Fly Away Love Bird first played on 15 July 2018.

August Moon self released a demo in 1993 titled "Rosegardens," and disbanded (another demo from that time period would eventually be released in 2011). In 2014, the band reformed and set to work on what would become their debut album, finally released in December 2024, entitled Something Eldritch and Macabre.
