Chew-Fu Phat has been played on NTS shows including Precious Metals w/ EndgamE, with Rude Boy (Chew Fu Vitamin S Fix) first played on 27 June 2018.

Chew Fu is a PURE triple threat serving as: (1) founder and creative inspiration for Amsterdam-based BROOKLYN ZOO MBC (Music-Based Content) (BZMBC), dedicated to the creation of music-based properties fusing progressive dance and authentic stateside urban music; (2) principal of NYC-based YOUNGSTAR MBC, dedicated to the creation of timeless, colorlineless, genreless, club/radio-friendly music based products specifically targeted to Generation iPod; and (3) principal and the senior managing producer for all of PURE’s music-related properties. He brings over 17 years of experience as a freelance producer, musician, and music supervisor. In addition to several ongoing film and television music-based projects for PURE, he is producing the album of Hip-Hip icon Doug E. Fresh for BZMBC entitled PROGRESSIVE B-BOY VOLUME I and three albums for YOUNGSTAR, including those of Jayson Castor (J-CAST), the son of funk soul legend Jimmy Castor, and A-Clay, Harlem’s best kept secret.

As a musician, Chew Fu played the North Sea Jazz Festival and over the years has performed with such respected musicians as Italian crooner Paolo Conte; platinum-selling UK sensation, The Prodigy; EBO Man; DJ Erik E; and DJ Jean. He was the founder, leader and creative inspiration of The Mind Menders, recognized by “Grote Prijs Van Nederland” as Holland’s best new band in 2003. As a producer, Chew Fu executive produced albums across many genres the list of which contains: Hip-Hop, and dance, including projects with super producer/DJ Ferry Corsten. Mr. Kardolus is also the producer behind the 2002 club smash WITHOUT YOU featuring Kimo. Similarly, Mr. Kardolus’ talents in the visual arts continue to expand with collaborations with MTV award-winning director EBO Man slated for 2008 release to his credit. Prior to joining PURE, Mr. Kardolus served as a partner in Cuban & The Dragon Productions, where the list of his credits includes seven albums, 38 singles, and chart-topping remixes for DUKE and Chew Fu Phat.

Chew Fu graduated with honors from the internationally renowned Utrecht Conservatory where he received his Masters in Fine Arts while studying alto sax under jazz legend Piet Noordijk.
