Shokazulu

Shokazulu

Shokazulu has been played over 20 times on NTS, first on 27 January 2015. Shokazulu's music has been featured on 25 episodes.

Strong music. Warrior stance. Shokazulu is a collection of music that expresses the full range of defiance. A 21st century rhythm experience set to explore the grooves. Using elements of all the dancefloor rhythms available, Shokazulu crafts a sculpture that reminds and surprises. Like a new photo of an old face.

This project provides a springboard for fresh musical explorations to come. Combining influence with innovation and always allowing raw emotion to drive the music. Dancefloor grooves that defy categories, twisting and turning through dark and light. Including the now legendary 'Part 4' and the incredible 'Pie' the demo that had audiences stop and clap in Tokyo and Sao Paolo. This release will mark a crossover point in a musical freedom that has been evolving out of the spotlight and is ready to be heard and felt now more than ever.
