Fronted by the blazing synth-lines of Islam Chipsy and bolstered by twin battery of percussion from Islam Ta'ta and Khaled Mando, EEK play high-velocity dance music of a kind rarely witnessed outside of Egypt, that is unless you've copped the incredible youtube clips of Chipsy, arms-a-flailin' and even blindfolded, and you'll know exactly what we're talking about. Centre-stage in command of a massive Yamaha keyboard, Chipsy is inarguably the star of the show, running off spiralling, five octave furnace blasts of incendiary melody and syn-brass flares against a barrage of drums with the crowd egging them on every step of the way.
