Ross Couch

Ross Couch

Ross Couch has been played on NTS in shows including Touch and Feel w/ Brian Vidal, featured first on 7 May 2018. Songs played include Before Sunset (Ross Couch Remix), City Lights and Lights Down Low.

Born and raised in Glasgow, 24-year old Ross Couch has been building a reputation as one of the UK's most exciting up and coming producers. His productions first came to light on the Bellboy and Panther labels where his difficult to pigeonhole brand of dance floor techno and melodic tech house had him being compared in the press to artists such as Deep Dish, Dave Angel, and Slam, with DJ support for his tracks from the likes of Laurent Garnier. In more recent times Ross has stepped up a gear, pushing a more house based sound drawing from deeper and funkier styles while still retaining the drive and energy of his techno productions which has been creating a buzz and helped secure releases on highly regarded labels such as Blaktrax, Kinky Vinyl and Red Melon. Meanwhile DJ's right across the board have been lending their support, from Pete Tong to Tom Stephan, Hernan Cattaneo to Omid 16B, Phil Keiran to Fred Everything, and many more. With a seemingly insatiable appetite for producing quality dance music and an ability to swich effortlessly between the scenes numerous genres it's safe to say that you'll be hearing a lot more from this guy in the future.
