Madam X
There are two artists named Madam X.
Madam X was an American hard rock band that was formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1981 by the Petrucci sisters Roxy Petrucci and Maxine Petrucci. They later relocated to New York, where they found their vocalist, Bret Kaiser. The band also featured male members John (Jayme) Grosjean and Chris Doliber. A record deal was also secured with Jet Records boss Don Arden. The band released one album, which Rick Derringer produced. A second album was recorded but never released, as they no longer had a record deal. Several line-up changes followed, including later to be Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach joining them. The band finally broke up around 1988. The Petrucci sisters tried to resurrect Madam X in 1991 with an all-female line-up, but they didn't last long. Roxy instead formed the more successful band Vixen. The band has become active again after reforming for a second time in 2013. The band released a new "Monstrocity" album on October 31, 2017.
Album releases:
1) We Reserve the Right (1984)
2) Monstrocity (2017)
Madam X, a Greek-British DJ and producer renowned for her bass-driven techno, has made a significant global impact with her innovative KAIZEN label, major festival performances, and residencies on BBC Radio 1, NTS, and Athens' Movement Radio.
