Diego Morales

Diego Morales

Diego Morales has been played on NTS in shows including Lightning Conductor w/ Lena Willikens, featured first on 21 March 2017. Songs played include Éxodo, No Hay Barroquismo Disfrazado De Microscopia and A Favor De La Crítica.

El Dub de los Pobres (Luna, 2003) was the album that expose Diego Morales as a great bet, according to the expectations generated by his work with the band Fredi Michel and placing him along with a new generation of chilean talents. His involvement with the Jacobino Discos label, included in the interesting catalog of this chilean colective, confirmed all expectations. So did the french label Autres Direction in Music which included him in a selection of compositions along with Pan American, Mitchell Akiyama, The Remote Viewer and Greg Davis among others. Morales use software in which he process and mix countless sounds, coming from traditional instruments such as guitars, bass, drums and keyboards to field recordings. A brief but intense musical career, only at 22 years old, that includes collaborations with bands such as Condensador de Flujos, Humo Líquido and the already mentioned Fredi Michel, in which he is a member until today. Currently, he has a new brilliant album titled Calmao (QSC, 2007). More info on Quemasucabeza.com
