Upgrade is the name of more than one artist: 1) NY hip-hop 2) Psychedelic trance duo 3) D&B/dubstep producer and recording engineer from Norwich 4) member of Oi Polloi 5) DJ Upgrade (rapper from Oakland CA)
1) Tom "Upgrade" Taub born on May 2, 1987 with presents on his umbilical chord, he was born with a gift. (VS) A fan of Hip Hop since he can remember from wearing his brothers jeans to school that were 12 sizes too big, writing lyrics inside every school notebook instead of the work in class, constantly perfecting his craft, and has never stopped "upgrading" since. With influences by legendary Hip Hop artists such as Talib Kweli, Chino XL, Tonedeff, and most of all, Verbal Science, it only made sense for his lyrics to stand out more than the average Emcee. Keeping his passion for true and pure Hip Hop, he has been able to stand taller than 5' 7'' with the mic gripped tightly in his palm, and express emotion and feeling on each sheet of paper his pen touched. Keep Hip Hop Alive -Peace
