Crooked Man has been played over 20 times on NTS, first on 30 December 2013. Crooked Man's music has been featured on 23 episodes.

Crooked Man is the latest moniker of Sheffield electronic producer Richard Barratt (a.k.a. Richard Parrot, DJ Parrot) who is/was a member of The All Seeing I, Sweet Exorcist, Hoodoo, Surface Mutants, Tooth Faeries, White Trash and various house music projects from the late 80s/early 90s.

After a number of EPs Crooked Man released the eponymous debut album on DFA in 2016.
