Wrote a music column for years & years in a Portland magazine called The Downtowner, interviewing Billy Joel, Frank Zappa, Iggy Pop, Rick Nelson, K.D. Lang, Larry Flynt, Gore Vidal, among others

Recorded first solo CD, ART TAKES A HOLIDAY in 1989, with guitarist,Marlon McClain (Pleasure & The Gap Band) co-producing. It received airplay in over 200 stations

Began playing solo gigs as Art Carnage, pioneering the electronic one-man band concept in the Portland area. Opened for Bruce Hornsby and Thomas Dolby as well as popular local acts, Dan Reed Network and Shock. Got a little ahead of his time

Recorded the CD, EYE ON THE WORLD, as part of The Brothers Of Baladi with producer, Michael Shrieve, one time drummer of Santana

With 12 CD's to his credit, he now performs for a world-wide audience and travels all over the world to do it
