Mike Wells, released his first record in late 1991 after a demo he sent to KISS FM made its way to Colin Favar’s desk, leading to the release of the "Force Mass Motion EP" on Rabbit City. This marked the start of his career, and soon after, numerous successful tracks followed, including the massive hit "Panic." His music career led to regular tours at some of the world's biggest parties and events in countries such as the UK, Australia, and the USA.

In the early years of his career, Mike set up his own studio, resulting in the release of various projects, including "Friskee (FUK)," "Ispirazione" with Gordon Matthewman (XVX), and "Cableguy" (Rabbit City), as well as a significant number of remixes. Notable remixes include Adam F's "Music In My Mind," Smoke City’s "Underwater Love," Adamski's "One Of The People," and PF Project’s "Walk Away" feat. Roachford (Positiva).

In 2000, Mike began remixing tracks for major artists, starting with Moby’s "Porcelain" and later working on projects for labels such as Hole In One, Tatabox Inhibitors, and Fast. His growing reputation attracted the attention of Mute Records, which was launching a new underground tech/house label called "Future Groove." Under this label, Mike released the single "Supercell," and later, the "Polaris" project, which included two singles. He was also asked to mix a compilation of the label's past releases.

In 2002-2003, Mike collaborated with Dylan Rhymes, releasing the tracks "Hold Back" and "Vanquish" on Acetate Records, both of which were widely acclaimed in the breakbeat community. Their success led to a deal with Critical Mass Recordings, and the duo changed their project name to Silencer. The album "Signals," released in August 2003, gained significant attention, with extensive radio play and press coverage.

During this time, Mike was also involved in producing a soundtrack for the FOX TV show "Dark Angel" and worked on an album for Erasure. In 2004, Silencer's track "Drown In Me" gained worldwide popularity, and the album was featured in the US TV show "CSI - Crime Scene Investigation."

In the same year, Mike released new music under the "Force Mass Motion" project and collaborated with UK Cream resident Paul Hillyer under the name "Xpander." Their first release, "Celeda – The Underground," was signed to the US label Star 69. Mike’s later releases included the anthem "I Need You" in 2005 on Critical Mass and a new single, "Waiting," which was expected to be a major release in 2006.

Throughout his career, Mike Wells has continued to have a significant impact on the music scene, with his work spanning multiple genres and gaining widespread acclaim.
