La Otra Cara de un Jardín (The Other Side of a Garden) is a pseudonym of the Francisco Felipe from Madrid. He creates processed sounds collages which can be compared with the sound experiments of the foreign projects, such as French Etant Donnes.
He released an industrial music cassette La Otra Cara de un Jardín in 1981 on Tic-Tac records. In 1982 the single Busqueda de Consuelo en los Amaneceres Frios was recorded together with Arturo Lanz (Esplendor Geométrico). One year later, he collaborated with the track The Last Minutes of Everyday on the compilation Anthems 2 of the Italian label Trax. This compilation was re-released as Trax 0983 Anthems in 2010 on the Italian label Radical Matters.
In 1985, he was included in the compilation cassette Codex by IEP. Shortly afterwards, he released Breve Jornada por un Jardin Cerrado (EGK 004), a collection of some compositions from his self-titled cassette. In 1986, a split with the USA group Big Red Stain, Chronicle Of Consumptive Irritation / Brikollage, was released on Sound of Pig label. Also in the same year, a track El Canto De Las Silfides appeared on the compilation Conspiracion (Discos Proceso Uvegraf.) It is a compilation of industrial, electronic and experimental music which includes a cast of great names from the Madrid's experimental music scene: Esplendor Geométrico, Depósito Dental, Interacción, Luis Mesa, Juan Teruel/Uvegraf, Ejumboeke and Segunda Época del Hombre. He was also included in the compilation The World, The Flesh and The Devil (Espagne-Italie) by French label Déviation Culturelles (Acedera and Ahituz.)
