Don Froth

Don Froth

Don Froth has been played on NTS in shows including Way Back Here, featured first on 29 October 2012. Songs played include Reflexed (Anthony "Shake" Shakir Remix), Foam and DOCs.

Currently residing elsewhere, Don keeps that laidback west-coast vibe locked in to his dance floor tracks. Froth's sounds have worldwide support with his 12" FOAM EP selling out in record stores from the UK to Japan. A focus on sub-bass, heavy rhythm, and minimal hooks gives this undercover bedroom Producer / DJ a hard-hitting groove and original sound.

His recent release 10,000 cc dropped in July 2010, on the Phonica White (002) label gaining support from numerous heavy weight DJ’s. Froth’s tracks have gotten airplay on BBC Radio 1 (UK), RINSE FM (UK) SubFM (UK) KCRW (LA), WFMU (NY) among others, and have been included in mixes, online radio and compilations.

Supported by Giles Peterson, 2562, Mary Anne Hobbs, Headhunter, Mr.C, Tim Sweeney of Beats in Space (NY), DJ KZA of Force of Nature (Japan), Sinden and more. When not behind the decks or engineering new sounds Froth enjoys good coffee, bikes, low wind and 180 south degree angles.

Don Froth has been mistakenly referred to as Don Forth, Dan Froth, Dan Feirth & DJ Don Floss. Froth'n Records has been referred to as: Frost records, Frothy records and Fro funk. Some good ones in there!
