Sasha Matson has been played on NTS shows including Bullion, with Mvt. II (Steel Song) first played on 19 March 2018.

Sasha Matson was born in Seattle, and grew up in Berkeley, California. He later attended the University of California at Santa Cruz, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where his primary teachers were composers John Adams and Elinor Armer.
