!!!, whose name can be pronounced by repeating any one-syllable percussive sound three times (e.g: "chk chk chk"), is a dance-punk outfit originating from Sacramento, California and signed to Warp Records. Formed out of a merger of two bands, Black Liquorice and Popesmashers, as well as Nic Offer, singer of hardcore act Yah Mos, across eight albums the group have fused dance music structures with more aggressive, guitar-based instrumentation.
