Myke Jackson was the vocalist/guitarist/composer of the psychedelic rock band Felt. He was jailed for six months for possessing cannabis. Felt disbanded and Jackson became a devout Christian. He recorded everything on his first solo album Alone. It was pressed on his own record label YiYi Records. He changed his name to Mychael John Thomas in 1988 since people constantly joked about his name. He recorded 29 studio albums and 27 of them were under the name Mychael John Thomas.
