His playing exemplifies the elegance and subtlety said to distinguish French pianism, in his interpretation of the works of compatriot composers Saint-Saëns, Fauré, Debussy, Ravel, Satie, and Poulenc, among others. However, his repertoire also covers the masters Haydn, Mozart, Brahms, and Beethoven.
