One Life has been played on NTS in shows including Yayo, featured first on 23 February 2018. Songs played include The Crowning (Extended Version) and Never Sleep Again.

A Goth band from Boston, Massachusetts. One Life put out but one 12” in 1988; The Crowning.

One Life, much like the phoenix, was born from brimstone and fire -- a fire that burned brightly between 3 local Chicago bands (Close Enough, Morning Side Drive, and Backdrop). Continuously losing members, its life was almost impossible to sustain. One Life quickly turned to ash after only 2 years time. But in this span, it spawned a new generation of musicians.

Ex-One Life members can been seen in bands like: The Waiting Game, 15 Minutes Late, Best Defense, Corsaire, and more.
