Young American Primitive, aka YAP, is Greg Scanavino a producer/remixer who emerged from the Bay Area house scene in the early 90's. Young American Primitive is mostly known for his self-titled debut album released by Zoë Magik Records in 1993. He also released several 12"s and made several compilation appearances.
