JAGATARA is a Japanese funk band which centered around Edo Akemi. The band formed in March, 1979. They released their first album 'Nanban Torai' 「南蛮渡来」 under the name 'Ankokutairiku Jagatara' 「暗黒大陸じゃがたら」 in 1982.
