British four piece Seefeel emerged at a time when rock music had begun to stagnate, with grunge’s intense energy starting to fade. Fusing textured, heavily treated guitar tones with electronic sequencers & drum machines, the group forged an inventive new path that casts a quiet influence on artists to this day.

Australian DJ Moopie explores the band’s lush, inventive discography with this two hour In Focus.

SKRS

SKRS

SKRS has been played on NTS shows including Latete Atoto, with TroubleRoundDiCorner first played on 16 November 2017.

Based in Richmond, British Colombia, Canada, and emerging from the ‘90s Filipino mobile DJ crew explosion, Seekersinternational (a.k.a. Seekers international, SKRS and SKRSINTL) released their debut album proper, The Call From Below, on the now-mythical Digitalis label in 2012. The LP was a revelation, highlighting the collective’s ability to refract dub reggae through a cracked, rose-tinted lens, offering a more ambient take on Pole’s glitchy dubwise experiments or Rhythm & Sound’s hallowed versions.
