Cyantific

Cyantific

Cyantific has been played on NTS shows including 88 Transition w/ Tasker, with Cold Fresh Air (Cyantific Remix) first played on 2 August 2015.

Cyantific, real name Jon Stanley is a UK drum and bass artist hailing from South West London. The project was formerly also with Matthew Whitehead who left in 2009.

The pair met at high school, where Matt was in a heavy metal band, and Jon collecting Drum and Bass records. They began making music using simple sequencing software on an old PC. The duo joined Hospital Records in summer 2002, when High Contrast tipped off Colman and Goss about Cyantific's award winning tracks and performance. With a collection of 12"s, remixes and compilation appearances, Cyantific has gathered a substantial underground fanbase. Popular tracks that have helped Cyantific's breakthrough into the drum and bass scene feature the fast soul classic with Diane Charlemagne, Don't Follow, and the hard hitting Output.

In 2006, after numerous singles they released their debut album "Ghetto Blaster" and went onto win the BBC 1Xtra Best Newcomer DJ award in 2007. Releases followed on legendary labels like Critical and Ram.

In December 2014, Cyantific signed exclusively with Viper Recordings, and made his debut with ‘Bring You Love’, followed by his #1 single ‘High Water Mark’, alongside his remix of Brookes Brothers – ‘Anthem’ which was selected on BBC 1Xtra’s “A” playlist.

In 2021 Jon made a post on his Bandcamp Subscription page stating that he wont be producing anymore. Since then, no more posts have been made and no more music has been released.
